Day 9 of 365

I got up this morning and had a few glasses of warm water. I then went to the gym, where I had a boot training class. Then I came home and had a green smoothie, which for some reason I threw up the entire glass of juice. So now I am hungry and not sure what to eat.  I was really hungry and had a peanut butter sandwich. For lunch I had a large serving of white rice and spicy beans. For dinner a friend came over and brought some incredible chocolate chip cookies. I ate two of them. They had little pieces of chocolate chips absolutely delicious. I can"t believe I have fallen off the raw food wagon. I am really trying to get back on. Tomorrow I am going to make a conscious effort to eat only raw food.

Day 8 of 365

Got up this morning and had a few glasses of warm water, before drinking a mugful of lemon juice in warm water and honey. Then went to a yoga class, which was really good. I got home and had a delicious green smoothie made from radish, spinach, cucumber and apple. It was amazing, the apple added a hint of sweetness, which cut the pungent taste of the radish. It was divine. I had a pineapple with oranges and lemons, which I juiced for breakfast. For lunch I had a bunch of grapes with strawberries. Later I had a piece of cake ( I am struggling to stay a 100% raw at this time). I went out with  a friend to a coffee shop where I ate a banana flavored cupcake with a hot chocolate. Can:'t believe I am struggling so much to stay raw. I thought turning raw would be easy. But I find myself struggling.

I was so excited about my aerobic class today that I got up feeling very happy and energetic. I had several glasses of hot water, followed by a mug of hot water with lemon and honey. I then went to my class. It was a highly energetic class and I felt really great after it. I got home, showered and had a large green smoothie made from spinach, cucumber, apple, ginger, lemon and raddish.  For lunch I had a tall glass of juice made from oranges, lemons and pineapple. For dinner I had a few chicken spring rolls, a piece of fruit cake and cocoa puffs. Yeah so much for me going all raw, a bit disappointed with myself

So I got up this morning and have juice of two pomegranates and one apple. I started off my morning really well, But then by lunchtime I had some cooked food prawns and okra with some rice. I followed this with a slice of cake and a few sweet biscuits. For dinner I had a smoothie made from oranges and pineapple. Don't feel too bad or guilty because I did manage to get some raw food in. But I realized that I really need to work on increasing my water intake. Oh by the way I have joined a gym and really look forward to my first day tomorrow

Since it is the weekend, I got up late, had a couple of glasses of warm water and then had warm water with honey and lemon. After that I had a large green smoothie made from spinach, cucumber, apple, celery, broccoli, ginger and lemon. I then headed out to the bookstore where I met an old friend, which was a pleasant suprise. He was really looking good, unfortunately he has a girlfriend who he is very serious about. I then met two of my friends for coffee, where I had a lemon and ginger tea with honey. I came back home and for lunch ate an entire honey dew melon. I screwed up a bit and ate some cooked food, some mince and potatoes and some peanut butter. Feel really bad and guilty To make matters worse after seeing my ex out with another girl I ate two chicken sandwiches and two bars of chocolate, now I feel really BAD

I got up feel sick to my stomach, wondering whether I am going to have a job, as I am currently working from home. I also woke up feeling very thirsty and had several glasses of water and a cup of hot water with lemon and honey, before heading out to the gym. At the gym, I spent 50 minutes on the treadmill, walking at a speed of 6.5. I then came back home and had a green smoothie around 9 am made from spinach, cucumber, broccoli, ginger and apple. Three hours later I had a tall glass of juice made from oranges, lemons and pineapple. It was absolutely delicious. I just downed a large pitcher of grape juice. Grapes are currently in season and I am making the most of it. For dinner I had a salad of carrots and tomatoes and then snacked on a few cashewnuts.I am so excited about this lifestyle and proud of myself for making it these past four days.

day 3

I got up feeling very thirsty this morning so had about three glasses of water followed by a mug of hot water with lemon and honey and then went to the gym. I walked for about 50 minutes on the treadmill at a speed on 6.5.    I then got back from the gym and had a glass of carrot juice. Since I am working from home, I was feeling a  bit thirsty and decided to make myself a glass or orange and pineapple juice. It was both tasty and refreshing. For lunch I had a smoothie made from two pomegranates and a bunch of grapes. It was both tasty and satisfying. Was feeling a bit hungry so snacked on some prunes, dates, almonds and cashew nuts.  For dinner I had a large green smoothie made from spinach, cucumber, radish, celery, broccoli and apple.
